Zero Budget: LP presidential candidate, Okereke vows to slash

Chibuzor Okereke, the Labour Party presidential candidate for the 2027 election, has taken aim at what he calls bogus and wasteful government expenditure, promising sweeping reform within the first 100 days of any administration he leads. In this interview, he pledges to make the local government system work for ordinary people within the same time frame, to prioritise transportation, the digital economy and agriculture, and to strengthen the National Economic Council along the lines recommended by the Oronsaye report.
