Xiaomi passes 1 mln smartphones sold in Italy this year

Xiaomi has passed the milestone of 1 million smartphones sold in Italy this year, according to a message on its Facebook page under the headline "Forza Xiaomi Italia" ("Come on Xiaomi Italia"). The Chinese vendor reached the figure in the first 10 months of 2019, having inaugurated its first retail space in the country in May 2018, followed by dozens more stores and a dedicated Italian online space a year ago.
