KATHMANDU, March 19: Nepal’s Election Commission formally presented the final results of the March 5 general elections to President Ramchandra Paudel, marking the official conclusion of the polls. The 275-member House of Representatives comprises 165 directly elected members and 110 proportionally elected members. Acting Chief Election Commissioner Ram Prasad Bhandari handed over the results at Shital Niwas, with President Paudel praising the commission for conducting free, fair, and fearless elections despite complex challenges.
