Welsh DRS operator finally appointed as drinks trade warns over glass

The Welsh Government has appointed Exchange for Change to run its Deposit Return Scheme, more than a year after the organisation was selected to oversee DRS elsewhere in the UK. The drinks trade has welcomed the appointment but warned that Wales’ decision to include glass leaves less than 14 months to resolve major questions over infrastructure, funding and consumer choice.
