This sparked outrage on the internet. Outrage trolls on Twitter said, “There is no reason for anyone to wear a Swastika” (a remark which drew countless GIFs from Raiders of the Lost Ark and Schindler’s List in response.) Sadly, there was also a hostile reaction in the real world, as Berlin police began an investigation into a performer wearing a costume in a concert.
