Volunteers hit New River banks for Giles County’s Fall Into the New cleanup event

Volunteers in Giles County gathered for the annual "Fall Into the New" cleanup event, organized by Renew the New, to help preserve the New River and the surrounding community. Participants spread out along the riverbanks to collect trash before returning to Eggleston Community Park for a free lunch provided by Giles County. Local volunteers say keeping the river clean is key to protecting both the area's natural beauty and its thriving outdoor tourism economy.
