Vietnamese community urges Macau to ease visa rules

The local Vietnamese community wants the government to reduce visa requirements and pilot a visa-on-arrival scheme in major Vietnamese cities, saying the measures could attract more tourists and workers. Citing the about 9,000 Vietnamese workers already in Macau, Vietnamese Consul General Le Duc Hanh called for the introduction of a visa-on-arrival scheme to facilitate travel for Vietnamese tourists and workers.
