Vietnam, Thailand should look beyond competition to grow tourism together: Thai official

Vietnam and Thailand should not view each other as rivals competing for the title of Southeast Asia's leading tourism destination, but as strategic partners that can leverage their similarities and distinct strengths to attract more international visitors to the region, according to Pattaraanong Na Chiangmai, deputy governor for international marketing at the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
