Victor Fernandez is a 19-year-old Argentinian who arrived on Tyneside in January from Spanish side UE Cornella. The left-winger is held in high regard at Newcastle United and spent the summer of 2017 training with the first team, including at the training camp in Dublin. The midfielder is a pacy winger who likes to run at full-backs and has a good eye for goal. He scored one for the United reserve side, which was enough for Rafa Benitez to see what he could offer the first team.
