USU: More Finns see racism as a major problem

Sixty percent of Finns believe racism is a significant problem in the country, according to a new USU-gallup survey published by Uutissuomalainen. The figure marks a steady rise in concern. In a similar survey conducted two years ago, 57 percent of respondents agreed with the statement. Five years ago, the number was 51 percent. In the most recent poll, 35 percent of respondents disagreed with the statement that racism is a significant problem. Five percent said they did not know or preferred not to answer.
