UK Government Orders Nexperia to Sell Newport Wafer Fab Over National Security Fears

Some months ago, we reported on the acquisition of a Welsh semiconductor plant by a Dutch company that is entirely owned by a Chinese business, and while we felt that there were limited risks at the time, the UK government has now ordered the new owners to sell the foundry.
