Two foreigners plead guilty in China to trafficking 70 kg of cannabis despite ‘in transit’ claim

In June 2025, customs officers at Beijing Capital International Airport intercepted more than 70 kilograms of suspected cannabis products from four pieces of checked baggage on an international flight transiting through Beijing, the WeChat account of National Narcotics Control Commission reported on Saturday.
