Training Syria's Next Generation of Seed Specialists

Funded by the UK FCDO and implemented by ICARDA and FAO, the Seed System Restoration Initiative is strengthening Syria's agricultural recovery by training researchers, breeders, and seed specialists in crop improvement, seed systems, and modern breeding methods to build resilient, climate-ready national seed systems and improve long-term food security.
