Three injured in Schuman knife attack, incident not terrorist related say police

Belgian police say a knife attack at a busy Brussels metro station that left three injured, one critically, is not thought to be terrorist related.The 30-year-old attacker was quickly arrested after the incident at Schuman metro station at rush hour on Monday evening.Brussels' mayor Philippe Close Tweeted: "Cooperation with the various federal police services and (the local police) ensured that the perpetrator could be arrested quickly.”The motive for the attack is not clear, the prosecutor's office said, although it is believed the attacker was known to the police.It happened at 17.45 in a metro carriage as the train arrived at Schuman.
