The men searching for a lost world

Beneath the exposed slopes of a coal mine in northern Việt Nam lies one of Southeast Asia’s richest fossil sites. Armed with little more than hammers, brushes and patience, two palaeontologists are racing against time to recover the remains of a world that disappeared 35–40 million years ago.
