Thane Gaondevi Market Reopens After Fire, Deputy CM Eknath Shinde Inaugurates Rebuilt Facility For 150 Vendors

The newly rebuilt Gaondevi Market in Thane West was inaugurated by Deputy CM Eknath Shinde, around three months after a fire destroyed the complex. The reconstructed facility includes improved electrical infrastructure, CCTV surveillance and fire alarm systems. Shinde paid tribute to two responders who died during the blaze and stressed the need for safety precautions.
