Sweden, Finland, Norway and Lithuania consider joint purchase of combat vehicles

Sweden is leading discussions with Finland, Norway and Lithuania on a joint procurement of CV90 infantry fighting vehicles, Prime Minister Ulf Kristersson confirmed at a press conference on Tuesday. The proposed deal would involve several hundred armoured vehicles manufactured by BAE Systems Hägglunds, a Sweden-based subsidiary of the British defence company BAE Systems. Talks are underway to draft a statement of intent among the four countries.
