Sustainability, value addition and women's potential in Africa's cocoa industry

Côte d'Ivoire and Ghana lead global cocoa production, contributing over 60 per cent of the world's supply, according to the African Union's Cocoa Agenda 2063. Despite this, the sector faces challenges such as climate change, income inequality, and limited value addition.
