South Sudan rejects foreign pressure, insists on sovereign path to elections and reforms – Medafrica Times

South Sudan’s President Salva Kiir has rejected what his office described as external interference in the country’s political affairs, saying elections and reforms must be led by South Sudanese institutions. The Presidency said international partners are welcome to support the peace process and development but should not dictate political outcomes.
