Shamrock residents spruce up the city with Irish pride

Shamrock residents braved the wind and weather on Thursday morning to volunteer and help beautify the city. Volunteers ranging from high school students to local residents gathered to pick up litter in preparation for the 73rd annual St. Patrick’s Day Celebration. “When people first drive into town we want them to see that Irish pride,” said Jenny Morgan, volunteer coordinator. “Having pride in the city makes the whole city look better,” said Zachary Butler, volunteer.
