Several port workers arrested as part of major cocaine seizure probe – Police

The police are reporting that several employees at Kingston Container Terminal suspected of being part of a drug-smuggling syndicate operating at the facility have been taken into custody. They say the arrests came amid an investigation arising from a massive cocaine seizure. The police say earlier this week, cocaine valued at approximately $1 billion was seized. Arising from the seizure, a major multi-agency operation is now being conducted at the compound.
