Second World War hero who saved Cardiff City Hall from a Nazi bomb with a sandbag between his teeth is honoured for his bravery aged 100

Ronald Brignall was 16 when he saved Cardiff City Hall during a German air raid. He carried two 12lb sandbags, while he scaled a 25ft drainpipe to douse the flames on the roof.
