Russian strike Ukraine kills 16, ACT joins gun buyback, US threatens economic sanctions on Iran

Ukrainian officials say 22 children are among the scores of people wounded in a Russian drone attack on a shopping centre. The daylight strike in the city of Kryvyi Rih left at least 16 people dead and more than 120 wounded. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy says the attack came in two waves, half an hour apart, in a bid to target emergency services.
