Romania to skip 5G auction in 2019

Romanian's new Minister of communications, transport and infrastructure Lucian Bode said telecom authority Ancom won't organise a 5G auction in 2019, writes local publication Economica.net. This contradicts Ancom VP Eduard Lovin's declaration that Ancom respects the timetable it assumed on the tender procedure for 5G. Ancom said on 7 June that the 5G licences will be attributed by the end of 2019.
