Returns to third countries up by 13% in Q2 2025

In the second quarter of 2025, 116 495 non-EU citizens were ordered to leave an EU country, and 28 355 people were returned to third countries following an order to leave. Compared with the second quarter of 2024, the number of non-EU citizens ordered to leave went up by 3.6%, and the number of people returned to third countries increased by 12.7%.
