Rep. Greene Introduces Bill To Rename Federal Building In Rome To Honor The Late Judge Harold Murphy

Yesterday, U.S. Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene celebrated the passage of a bill that will rename the Federal Building in Rome in honor of the late Judge Harold Murphy. Murphy, a native of Felton, Georgia, served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. After his military service, he passed the bar and began practicing law. He also served in the Georgia General Assembly. Then-Governor Jimmy Carter appointed Murphy to a position on the Superior Court of the Tallapoosa Judicial Circuit.
