By Hinse Mutter: Today was the 7th edition of the Dutch Fantasticon, a yearly convention held in Nieuw-Vennep, the Netherlands. The event featured the release of the 26th Ganymede yearbook, an annually compiled sample of current, Dutch-language fantastic literature, featuring over 25 authors from the Netherlands and Flanders. There were talks and discussions on SF/F/H throughout the day on amongst others utopian sci-fi, the nature of horror literature, and French and Flemish ‘fantastiek’.
