Regions aim for key role in ‘communicating Europe’ during referendums

Elected regional and local representatives can play a key role in explaining the EU to the citizens in the forthcoming referendums on the Constitution, hopes Peter Straub, President of the Committee of the Regions, as he launches a series of workshops and seminars for representatives of regions and cities.
