Rahul’s mimicry event invites more criticism

Panaji, Sep 21: Union minister Arjun Ram Meghwal on Monday criticised Rahul Gandhi over a mimicry act at the Congress MP’s recent event in Indore, alleging that remarks linked to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s late mother amounted to an insult to Indian culture. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant also hit out at Gandhi over the issue, saying political opposition should not descend into personal attacks on parents or elders.
