Puerto Rico Will Begin Rationing Water Amid Fresh Crisis – Repeating Islands

Pérez Sánchez (from San Juan and Loíza, Puerto Rico) report that, since yesterday (Friday) the island’s water authority is scheduled to shut off water for rotating 48-hour periods in parts of San Juan and surrounding areas. The problem has been ongoing, with many of our friends reporting the water scarcity for several months, as the island is faced with drought, aging pipelines, and faulty systems.
