On August 25, the federal government announced additional response measures to assist workers and businesses affected by the ongoing tariffs on Canadian goods. Key elements of the new measures include enhancement of Employment Insurance (EI) support for workers and significant expansion of liquidity and financing support for businesses affected by tariffs.
