Police treat Dutch producer’s disappearance as crime after burned car found in Suriname

Surinamese police are investigating the disappearance of Dutch film producer Rodney Leysner, 52, as a crime after identifying a burned and crushed car found in a swamp as his vehicle. It was found in the district of Saramacca, Suriname. Nearly 15,000 euros has been raised through a family crowdfunding effort to support the search, RTL reports.
