Police Advisory On Government Officials Impersonation Scams Involving Impersonation Of Officials From ICA And China

The Police would like to alert members of the public to a surge in cases of Government Officials Impersonation Scams, where scammers impersonate officials from the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) and China. Since January 2026, at least 72 cases have been reported, resulting in losses of at least $6.1million.
