PM congratulates new Tamil Nadu CM Vijay over phone

New Delhi, May 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a telephonic conversation with the new chief minister of Tamil Nadu, C Joseph Vijay, and congratulated him on taking the oath of office on Sunday. The TVK chief was sworn in as the Tamil Nadu chief minister earlier in the day. The PM and Vijay spoke over the phone, and, during the conversation, Modi congratulated Vijay on taking oath as the chief minister of the state, sources said.
