OPINION: From Singapore to Vision 2060: Making the Destination Mean Something to Kenyans

That interrogation of what Singapore and Vision 2060 mean matters because political language can lose its power when it is repeated without being translated into everyday realities. A vision must make sense to the citizen who wakes up worried about school fees, food prices, rent, employment, healthcare and the prospects of his or her children. It needs to answer a basic question: What does this destination mean for me?
