OP-ED: Taiwan Is an Inalienable Part of China

The Taiwan question bears on China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity and is at the very core of China’s core interests. The position of the Chinese government and the Chinese people on the Taiwan question has been consistent and clear. Resolutely safeguarding China’s sovereignty and territorial integrity is the firm will of more than 1.4 billion Chinese people. Achieving China’s complete reunification is the shared aspiration and sacred duty of all Chinese people.
