One Railway order, two reactions—and BJP caught in between over Palakkad division

The Ministry of Railways has decided to make a major change in the railway administration of the coastal Karnataka region. From October 1, 2026, the Mangaluru railway area, extending up to Ullal, will be moved from the Palakkad Division of Southern Railway to the Mysuru Division of South Western Railway.
