Oak Brook resident Sharma says DuPage County residents 'deserve a sheriff who treats women with respect'

Support for Peter Coolidge, the Democratic candidate for DuPage County sheriff, is showing signs of erosion among women in the county following a string of police-record revelations about his past conduct, including a 2018 harassment complaint accusing him of stalking a woman, and a 2014 police interview conducted after the strangulation death of a jail nurse with whom he allegedly had an affair, a relationship followed shortly after by the breakup of his marriage.
