Number of domestic leisure trips grew by good one tenth in 2024

According to Statistics Finland, around 24.0 million domestic leisure trips with overnight stay were made in 2024, which is good one tenth more than in 2023. The number of leisure trips abroad with overnight stay remained on level with the previous year and was around 6.2 million in 2024. The number of business trips both in Finland and abroad decreased from the year before.
