NPP councillor resigns after arrest over attack on Jaffna home

A local government councillor affiliated with Sri Lanka's governing National People's Power has resigned after being arrested alongside a group of associates over an attack on a house in Nelliyady, Jaffna, in which surveillance cameras at the property were targeted.
