Nongrah community calls for swift action by police

SHILLONG, Oct 19: Deep anxiety grips Nongrah as the residents continue to await justice for the brutal murder of a child in the locality. General secretary of Nongrah Dorbar, Pynshaiborlang Pyngrope, has made a strong appeal to the police to intensify their investigation and ensure the prompt arrest of those responsible for the crime. During a candlelight vigil organised to honour the memory of the young victims, Pyngrope acknowledged the continuous efforts made by the police in probing the case.
