Nitin Pai: India has much to gain from cooperation with other South Asian countries

New Delhi's strategy has been dominated by suspicion of China's influence over its neighbours, but a pivot may be due. India should view its relations with countries like Nepal, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka and Maldives through a bilateral lens and rework its calculus based on future prospects.
