Nigeria-Focused Fintech Palmpay Eyes Hong Kong IPO

PalmPay Ltd. is preparing for a possible initial public offering in Hong Kong as the Africa-focused fintech seeks about $200 million from investors, Bloomberg reported, citing people familiar with the plans. The funding round values the company at more than $1 billion, giving PalmPay unicorn status.
