?The Martian’
Summary
This is the original “Matt Damon trying to get home” movie. If you can’t watch The Odyssey this weekend, I have good news for you: There is another very good movie about Matt Damon trying to get home, and it’s called The Martian. Based on the book of the same name by Andy Weir (aka the guy who wrote Project Hail Mary), this smart sci-fi film—anchored by Damon’s down-to-earth performance—will keep your eyes glued to the screen. Damon stars as Dr. Mark Watney, a botanist and astronaut left alone to fend for himself on Mars, after a NASA mission goes wrong.
