NEW DELHI: India has called on the international community to work collectively to safeguard critical sea lanes and maritime infrastructure, saying secure and predictable shipping routes are essential to ensure the uninterrupted movement of food, fertilisers, fuel and other vital commodities amid conflicts and growing disruptions to global supply chains.
