NIA chargesheets 13 accused in Ghaziabad espionage case

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has filed a chargesheet against 13 accused in connection with the Ghaziabad espionage case, alleging that they illegally accessed sensitive areas and transmitted photographs and videos containing geo-tagged information to entities based in an enemy country. The chargesheet was filed before the Special Court, NIA, Lucknow, in case RC-01/2026/NIA/LKW under Sections 61(2) and 152 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Sections 3 and 5 of the Official Secrets Act and Sections 13, 17 and 18 of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act.
