Nexen signs 4 MW renewable power agreement for Yangsan plant

Nexen Tire has signed a direct power purchase agreement (DPPA) covering approximately 4 MW of onshore wind and solar capacity for its Yangsan tyre plant in South Korea. The agreement with Korean energy company SK Innovation E&S will enable Nexen Tire to purchase renewable electricity directly from an energy provider under a long-term contract. Supply is scheduled to begin in November 2026.
