The Romanian foreign ministry summoned Belarus’ chargé d’affaires ad interim in Bucharest following comments by Belarusian president Alexander Lukashenko that the United States is pushing Europe into a military confrontation with Russia on the territory of Ukraine and that other states, including Romania, may become directly involved.
