Nepal house adjourned amid border row

Kathmandu, June 3: Nepal’s National Assembly was adjourned on Wednesday after opposition lawmakers continued to protest Prime Minister Balendra Shah’s remarks on the country’s border dispute with India. National Assembly Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal suspended proceedings until June 9 as opposition members demanded that Shah apologise, withdraw his statement and remove it from parliamentary records.
