Naval aviator brothers fulfilled father

The late 19th century Oklahoma Territory was a land of vast opportunity, and one who took advantage of it was an immigrant from the Bohemian region of the modern day Czech Republic named Johann Soucek. He arrived in the United States as a child in 1875, and as a young man made his home in the town of Medford during the land run of 1893 and set up shop as a blacksmith. Two years later he married Lydia Plashny, who hailed from the same region as him, and they started a family, welcoming a daughter Myrha, followed by three sons.
